Volunteer
Volunteers play a vital role in helping us bring arts-based programs and events to life. Whether you're passionate about the arts, enjoy spending time with older adults, or simply want to give back to your community, there are many different ways to get involved with the Arts and Aging Network.

From one-time event support to ongoing roles like GrandPals, bus visit companions, or even artist facilitators and program assistants, we welcome volunteers of all ages and skill sets. If you're interested in becoming a facilitator or program assistant, please note that you’ll be required to complete our Dementia Sensitivity and Engagement Training and be familiar with the Arts and Aging Approach.

All volunteers must provide a Vulnerable Sector Police Check before participating in programs.

Become a Sponsor
The support of sponsors is vital to our mission of connecting generations and enriching the lives of older adults through the arts. We are still developing a formal sponsorship package, but in the meantime we welcome and deeply value any potential community partners that would like to contribute in meaningful ways.

Sponsorships can be tailored to support individual performances, programs, or special visits — for example, covering the cost of a Sunshine Singers session or bringing a show like The Music of Your Life to a care home. Every contribution helps us expand access to joyful, inclusive arts experiences for seniors across Newfoundland and Labrador.
