Mahina Graham-Laidlaw is a musicians, researcher and administrator from Calgary, AB

Kara holds a BA from Memorial University in Sociology, Psychology & Criminology. She has worked & volunteered for a number of community organizations including Waypoints, The John Howard Society & The Gathering Place.

Jack Thistle is a bilingual science graduate, experienced performer, and passionate community advocate with a strong interest in geriatric medicine and the power of the arts to connect generations.

Michelle Carew is an active teacher and performer who believes the classroom and the stage inspire the same energy and imagination in order to captivate the audience. 

Cyril is an accomplished business leader with over 20 years of experience in operations within highly regulated national organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, an MBA, as well as the Facilities Management Professional designation.

Damian Stacey is dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through creative and engaging recreation programs.

Sarah is a Chartered Professional Accountant with a personal passion for music and art. She grew up playing the piano and flute, performed in music festivals locally and internationally, and was a music instructor for many years.

Aimee is a passionate Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) working in community recreation and municipal government.

Vernon Curran is a Professor of Medical Education at Memorial University’s Faculty of Medicine, where he has spent much of his career helping shape how future doctors and health professionals learn.

Zachary Johnson, a husband and father originally from Dunfield, Trinity Bay, is a recreation therapist with more than eight years of experience in senior care

Jenny Mallard is an award winning Music Entrepreneur and Career Development Practitioner with a passion for social justice, mental health, and community building.

Tim Matson is a professional musical theatre performer and high school drama teacher. You may have seen Tim in Come From Away in Gander!

Marcelle Boisjoli is a French-Canadian artist and educator originally from Alberta who has made Newfoundland’s west coast her home.

Stephanie is a local artist, in the process of becoming a certified art therapist. Stephanie loves making art and is always searching for opportunities to do so!

Cody is the current Artistic Director of The Grand Bank Regional Theatre and is thrilled to be taking on a new role as our Coordinator for the Burin Peninsula region.

Keith Power is a well-loved performer, writer, and comedian from Mount Pearl.

Michael Power is an actor, singer, and dancer from Harbour Grace.

Originally from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Adam has called Newfoundland home since 2008.

Evelyn Jess is a singer/songwriter from Ragged Harbour, Newfoundland. As an Artist Facilitator for the central region, Jess brings heart and dedication, passionately working to create meaningful connections and shared joy through the power of music.

Ian Locke is a well-known performer and creative on the West Coast of the province. He is the Co-Artistic Director of the well-known organization, Camber Arts.

Evan Watts Smith served as resident music director for the Stephenville Theatre Festival and has music directed numerous productions including:

Cara Fleming, a St. John’s Newfoundland resident, excels in leadership roles due to her strong organization skills, ability to collaborate with others, and her attention to detail. Cara possesses a strong work ethic and contributes positively to a productive work environment. She is passionate about music and arts and uses her creativity in every aspect of her life.

Taylor Baggs is a recent B.A (Co-Op) Psychology graduate from Acadia University with a passion for community, creativity, and inclusive programming. Through her work and volunteer experiences in mental health, recreation, education, and inclusion support, Taylor has developed a strong interest in creating meaningful connections through community-based care and engagement.

Beckett Churchill is a self-described softie and huge nerd. He has recently graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland’s Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program and also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts, also from Memorial University.

Claire Hartlen is a recent graduate of Memorial University’s School of Music, where she completed her Master of Music in Performance Pedagogy in the spring of 2025.

Emma is a graduate of the teacher training program at Canada’s National Ballet School with her Registered Teacher Status from the Royal Academy of Dance.
