Claire Hartlen

Claire Hartlen is a recent graduate of Memorial University’s School of Music, where she completed her Master of Music in Performance Pedagogy in the spring of 2025. She has performed extensively with Opera Roadshow (Opéra en tournée) in Newfoundland since 2023 with her most recent role being Le soleil in Le phare, a newly commissioned opera. She most recently returned to her home province of Nova Scotia to perform as Belinda in Dido and Aeneas with the Maritime Concert Opera. When she isn’t performing, Claire enjoys sharing her love of music through teaching voice at Sounds of the Cove.

Claire has been volunteering with the Arts and Aging Network since December of 2025, where she has enjoyed supporting programs that foster creativity, connection, and lifelong learning. She is thrilled to be joining the team as Youth Coordinator and is looking forward to using her skills in music and education to help create meaningful and enriching experiences for the aging community here!
