Erin Lee
Arts Program Coordinator
Erin Lee (she/her) is a performer and cross-disciplinary community organizer with a background in the arts and social impact leadership. She is a graduate of Memorial University’s pioneering joint Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Music program where she majored in vocal performance—the first of its kind in Canada. With over a decade of experience in Newfoundland’s music and theatre scene, Erin has performed with companies such as TaDa! Events, MUN Opera Workshop, Opera on the Avalon, Peter MacDonald Productions, Rennie’s River Productions, Best Kind Productions, and Holy Heart Theatre.
A longtime advocate for social justice, Erin co-founded the Newfoundland chapter of Fridays for Future and continues to integrate social advocacy into her community organizing and professional work. After graduating from university, she was selected to participate in the International Youth Initiative Program (YIP), a 10-month leadership course spanning Sweden, India, and England that focuses on systems thinking, social innovation, and developing tools to address global issues through an entrepreneurial lens. Erin believes that every arts experience has the power to bring people together and is dedicated to creating joyful, inclusive, and meaningful programs through her work with The Arts and Aging Network.
