Gillian Davis

Community Arts Coordinator

Gillian Davis is a multi-disciplinary community programmer with experience spanning environmental education, facilitation, and public engagement. As the Community Arts Coordinator at the Arts and Aging Network, she brings a mix of creativity, coordination, and care to support accessible, inclusive programming for older adults across the province.

With academic backgrounds in Environmental Management, Forest Sciences, and Geography — and more than a decade of experience in dance and musical theatre — Gillian is passionate about connecting people through both the natural world and the arts. She has led workshops, mentored youth, and helped design programs that center creativity, curiosity, and belonging.

Gillian’s connection to dementia-friendly programming is personal and heartfelt. Inspired by her late grandmother’s experience, she’s committed to making space for joy and connection through community-based arts.

Outside of work, you’ll find her spending time in nature, crafting, and birdwatching — always on the lookout for new things to try. She’s proud to be part of an organization that’s helping to build more connected and compassionate communities through intergenerational engagement.
