Melody Rodgers
Artist Facilitator
Melody Rodgers (she/her) is a musician, performer, and music educator from Paradise, NL.
She holds a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Music Education from Memorial University of
Newfoundland. Melody is currently a substitute Music and French teacher with NL Schools,
teaches private voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele lessons, is an accredited Kindermusik educator, and is the operations manager and curriculum developer for a local music studio, Benson School of Music.
Melody has been working to develop our Music for Life detailed facilitation guide which aims to create an opportunity for connection, engagement, collaboration and self-expression for people living with dementia. She is all about personalized learning and enjoying the process. She deeply believes in a learner-first approach, flexible pacing, and working together to make music in a fun, meaningful, and accessible way.
