Melody Rodgers
Artist Facilitator
Melody Rodgers (she/her) is a musician, performer, and music educator from Paradise, NL.
She holds a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Music Education from Memorial University of
Newfoundland. Melody is currently a substitute Music and French teacher with NL Schools,
teaches private voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele lessons, is an accredited Kindermusik educator,
and is the operations manager and curriculum developer for a local music studio, Benson School
of Music.
Melody has been working to develop our Music for Life curriculum which aims to create an
opportunity for connection, engagement, collaboration and self-expression for people living with
dementia. She is all about personalized learning and enjoying the process. She deeply believes in
a learner-first approach, flexible pacing, and working together to make music in a fun,
meaningful, and accessible way.
